Scrapbook Entry

I think I was the only one who brought a camera.

Got some pix from our fun trip. You only can catch a slight glimpse of one of the donkey in one of the pictures.

Here's one of Adam, uh...scoping out the terrain.

Here's one of our hero...
We all met at the Wal-Mart in Woodstock on a beautiful Autumn Saturday. Good times...good times.

We got to see the Rutkowski Bros and and a Tucker meet. [...Sniff, sniff...]

The guys cleared the beer out of the Wally World, grabbed some cookies, and a couple sausages and we wuz on our way.

This is how EVERYONE looked by the end of the night. (Blurry, not necessarily smiling.)

This is where we cooked dem sausages...

Any day that doesn't end in a forest fire is a good day.

Mission Accomplished!

The Dave Rutkowski Party Squad made it to the woods. (And back, too--that's the amazing part.) Dave is now ready to get married, thanks to us. The credit we deserve is, of course, massive, but Dave deserves some credit as well, because if he wasn't alive, and if he hadn't consented to get married to Kathryn, we'd have needed another reason to party.
The crew made it out to the woods and created a tent city at least 10 tents strong. We partied long and strong and got out of the woods by 10:00 and left (almost) no trace.

Thanks for showing up and toasting our boy, Dave.

He says he had a good time, and it looked like he did, though I was quite surprised that Kathryn stayed away. Either that or she Ninja'd her way in and out undetected.

For those of you who felt very awful on Sunday morning, I salute your partying on Saturday night.

Till Dave's next wedding (...just kidding),
Take it easy,
Chris

Just a few more days...

Our trip is approaching, like the very moment of your deaths! Closer each day! We're going camping, so you'll need (at least):
  • Beer
  • Booze
  • Candy bars
  • tent
  • sleeping bag
  • spare socks (we are expected to cross a creek--but there's been a drought, so who knows, maybe it'll be dry...I digress...)
  • Let's keep our drugs non-injectable, ok?
  • musical instruments are cool
If any of y'all are big into camping and have handy do-dads to help the cause, bring em on!

Who needs a tent? At this point I think we have two extras. [Warning: Not very light]
Contact me directly if you're lacking gear.

Adam and I are heading up from Southwest Virginia. DC guys, get with Dave on the smart idea of carpooling.
If any of you are confused about where we're going, gimme a call.

I'm pretty enamored with Google Maps.
